We are collecting $20 per family for an engagement gift for the Rav and Rebbetzin’s daughter. If you’d like to contribute please call kitchen clique to give them your credit card info and ask to be added to the "Makarov twersky engagement gift". Please call it in by Monday evening. Their number is 718-692-2260. Please make sure to mention you are from the shul so they are aware to put it with that group. May we share in simchas together!

To My Fellow Makarov Mispallim,

It’s that time of the year again. I will be once again be be running a half marathon iyh this coming January while helping raise money for Chai Lifeline. Thanks so much to everyone who helped me reach my goal of raising $18,000 this past year. Every year, I try to raise more than I did the previous year. It is my hope to iyh be able to raise at least $25,000 this coming year.

We are going to be putting the order in for Simchas Torah today. If you have not and would like to contribute to the cost of Simcahs Torah please email us back letting us know how much you would like to contribute. If you missed the previous email sent see below. Thanks.

As we do every year the Shul will be having a Gala Kiddish on Simchas Torah. As we have Baruch Hashem grown, both with new Shul members and new family members, over the past few years we ask if everyone can give to help cover the increasing costs. As in the past we have asked for a suggested donation of $100 per family (member) this will cover the food, paper goods, beverages and waiters (to help setup, serve and cleanup). We do not want to anyone to feel pressured into giving that amount if they are unable to and we will gladly accept any amount. On the other side we also ask for those who do have the bracha of having more to consider giving more so the burden doesn’t fall on the shul.

We thank everyone for their generosity in advance and hope everyone has a Gut Gebenched Yur.
