ג,ה הקובר את מתו שלושה ימים קודם לרגל, בטלה ממנו גזירת שבעה; שמונה ימים, בטלה ממנו גזירת שלושים: מפני שאמרו, השבת עולה, ואינה מפסקת; והרגלים מפסיקין, ואינן עולין.

ג,ב ואלו מכבסים במועד: הבא ממדינת הים, ומבית השביה, והיוצא מבית האסורים, והמנודה שהתירו לו חכמים, וכל מי שנשאל לחכם והותר, מטפחות הידיים ומטפחות הספרים ומטפחות הספג, הזבים והזבות הנידות והיולדות, וכל העולים מטומאה לטהרה–הרי אלו מותרין. ושאר כל אדם אסורין.

ג,ג ואלו כותבין במועד–קידושי נשים, וגיטין, ושוברים, דייתיקי, מתנה, ופרוזבולין, איגרות שום, איגרות מזון, שטרי חליצה ומיאונין ושטרי בירורין וגזירות בית דין, ואיגרות של רשות.

ב,ה מחפים את הקציעות בקש; רבי יהודה אומר, אף מעבין. מוכרי פירות כסות וכלים, מוכרים בצנעה לצורך המועד; הציידים והדשושות והגרוסות, עושין בצנעה לצורך המועד. רבי יוסי אומר, הן החמירו על עצמן.

ג,א אלו מגלחין במועד–הבא ממדינת הים, ומבית השביה, והיוצא מבית האסורים, והמנודה שהתירו לו חכמים, וכל מי שנשאל לחכם והותר, והנזיר, והמצורע, והיוצא מטומאתו לטהרתו.

ב,ד אין לוקחין בתים ואבנים ועבדים ובהמה, אלא לצורך המועד, או לצורך המוכר שאין לו מה יאכל. אין מפנין מבית לבית; אבל מפנה הוא לחצרו, מפני שהיא שמחה לו. ואין מביאין כלים מבית האומן; ואם חושש להן, מפנן לחצר אחרת.

Following up from this Shabbos appeal for Project Machal

THIS WEEK SHABBOS APPEAL

This past Shabbos, Parshas Bo, our community, Marine Park, united together in a community-wide campaign benefiting Project Machal.

Project Machal is a program arranged by the JCC of Marine Park and endorsed by all the Rabbonim aimed at providing struggling families (approved by their local Rav) with a weekly food credit at the grocery of their choice. Thousands of dollars are distributed weekly to benefit our friends in Shul and neighbors.

Our shul, together with all the others in Marine Park, joined forces to promote this great project this past Shabbos.
