ג,א ערוגה שהיא שישה על שישה טפחים, זורעין בתוכה חמישה זירעונים–ארבעה בארבע רוחות ערוגה, ואחד באמצע. היה לה גבול טפח, זורעין בתוכה שלושה עשר–שלושה על כל גבול וגבול, ואחד באמצע; לא ייטע ראש הלפת בתוך הגבול, מפני שהוא ממלאהו. רבי יהודה אומר, שישה באמצע.

ב,ט הרוצה לעשות שדהו קרחת קרחת מכל מין–עושה עשרים וארבע קרחות לבית סאה, מקרחת לבית רובע, וזורע לתוכן כל מין שירצה. הייתה קרחת אחת או שתיים, זורען חרדל; שלוש, לא יזרעם חרדל, מפני שהיא נראית כשדה חרדל, דברי רבי מאיר. וחכמים אומרים, תשע קרחות, מותרות; ועשר, אסורות. רבי אליעזר בן יעקוב אומר, אפילו כל שדהו בית כור, לא יעשה בתוכה חוץ מקרחת אחת.

ב,י כל שהוא בתוך בית רובע, עולה במידת בית רובע; אוכלת הגפן, והקבר, והסלע–עולין במידת בית רובע. תבואה בתבואה, בית רובע; וירק בירק, שישה טפחים; תבואה בירק, וירק בתבואה–בית רובע. רבי אליעזר אומר, ירק בתבואה, שישה טפחים.

ב,ז היה ראש תור חיטים נכנס לתוך של שעורים–מותר, מפני שהוא נראה כסוף שדהו. שלו חיטים, ושל חברו מין אחר–מותר לסמוך לו מאותו המין. שלו חיטים, ושל חברו חיטים–מותר לסמוך לו תלם של פשתן, ולא תלם של מין אחר. רבי שמעון אומר, אחד זרע פשתן ואחד כל המינין. רבי יוסי אומר, אף באמצע שדהו, מותר לבדוק בתלם של פשתן.
ב,ח אין סומכין לשדה תבואה, חרדל וחריע; אבל סומך לשדה ירקות, חרדל וחריע. וסומך לבור, לניר, לגפה, לדרך, ולגדר שהוא גבוה עשרה טפחים, ולחריץ שהוא עמוק עשרה ורחב ארבעה, ולאילן שהוא מסך על הארץ, ולסלע שהוא גבוה עשרה ורחב ארבעה.

Help Our Summer Bills

Every month the Shul has a sponsorship for Parnas Hachodesh. We thanks all those that have sponsored and co-sponsored Parnas hachodesh throughout the year. The contributions are of great assistance in covering our expenses. As you can imagine, the financial burden upon any Shul is great. For reference, just this past month our electric bill was nearly $1000. (that’s not a misprint) That, in addition to the mortgage and other expenses that the Shul incurs on a monthly basis.
We would like to be able to raise some money to help assist our bills. We would like to raise money for both Parnas Hachodesh for both Tishrei and Av which would total $2000 {but of course more would be great :-)}Whoemever can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

ב,ו הרוצה לעשות שדהו מישר מישר מכל מין–בית שמאי אומרים, עושה שלושה תלמים של פתיח; ובית הלל אומרים, מלוא העול השרוני. וקרובין דברי אלו להיות כדברי אלו.
