The Rav will not be giving Shiur tonight

ג,ז אין משחיזים את הסכין, אבל משיאה על גבי חברתה. לא יאמר אדם לטבח, מכור לי בדינר בשר; אבל שוחט הוא, והן מחלקין ביניהם.

ג,ח אומר אדם לחנווני, מלא לי כלי זה, אבל לא במידה; רבי יהודה אומר, אם היה כלי של מידה, לא ימלאנו. מעשה בשאול בן בוטנית, שהיה ממלא את מידותיו מערב יום טוב, ונותנן ללקוחות ביום טוב; אבא שאול אומר, אף במועד עושה כן. וחכמים אומרין, אף בחול היה עושה כן, מפני מיצוי המידות. אומר אדם לחברו, תן לי ביצים ואגוזים במניין, שכן דרך בעל הבית להיות מונה בתוך ביתו.

ג,ה בהמה שמתה, לא יזיזנה ממקומה. מעשה כששאלו את רבי טרפון עליה ועל החלה שנטמאת, ונכנס לבית המדרש ושאל; ואמרו לו, לא יזיזם ממקומן.

ג,ו אין נמנין על הבהמה כתחילה ביום טוב; אבל נמנין עליה מערב יום טוב, ושוחטים ומחלקין ביניהם. רבי יהודה אומר, שוקל אדם בשר כנגד הכלי, או כנגד הקופיס; וחכמים אומרין, אין משגיחים בכף מאזניים כל עיקר.

ג,ג בהמה מסוכנת לא ישחוט, אלא אם כן ידוע שהוא יכול לאכול ממנה כזית צלי מבעוד יום; רבי עקיבה אומר, אפילו כזית חי מבית טביחתה. שחטה בשדה, לא יביאנה במוט ובמטה; אבל מביאה בידו אברים אברים.

ג,ד בכור שנפל לבור, רבי יהודה אומר, יירד המומחה ויראה: אם יש בו מום, יעלה וישחוט; ואם לאו, לא ישחוט. רבי שמעון אומר, כל שאין מומו ניכר מערב יום טוב, אין זה מן המוכן.
