ג,ו עודהו שהסל על כתפו, קורא מ"הגדתי היום לה’ אלוהיך" (דברים כו,ג), עד שהוא גומר את כל הפרשה; רבי יהודה אומר עד "ארמי אובד אבי" (דברים כו,ה). הגיע ל"ארמי אובד אבי", מוריד הסל מכתפו ואוחז בשפתותיו, וכוהן מניח את ידו תחתיו ומניף, וקורא מ"ארמי אובד אבי" עד שהוא גומר את כל הפרשה. הניחו בצד המזבח, והשתחווה ויצא.

ג,ז בראשונה, כל מי שהוא יודע לקרות, קורא; וכל מי שאינו יודע לקרות, מקרין אותו. נמנעו מלהביא; התקינו שיהו מקרין את מי שהוא יודע, ואת מי שאינו יודע.

Tomorrow morning, Slichos will begin at 6:00 AM

As Yom Tov approaches, the finishing touches are being put in seating. We would like to accommodate everyone. Any woman that have not yet requested a seat for Rosh Hashanah should please to so by this afternoon the latest. You can do so by just responding to this email.Thank you.

ג,ד החליל מכה לפניהם, עד שהן מגיעין להר הבית. הגיעו להר הבית, אפילו אגריפס המלך נוטל את הסל על כתפו ונכנס, עד שהוא מגיע לעזרה. ודיברו הלויים בשיר, "ארוממך ה’, כי דיליתני; ולא שימחת אויביי, לי" (תהילים ל,ב).

ג,ה הגוזלות שעל גבי הסלים, היו עולות. ומה שבידן, ניתנין לכוהנים.

ג,ב כיצד מעלים את הביכורים: כל העיירות שבמעמד, מתכנסות לעירו של מעמד; ובאין ולנין ברחובה של עיר, ולא היו נכנסין לבתים. ולמשכים, היה הממונה אומר "קומו ונעלה ציון, אל ה’ אלוהינו" (ירמיהו לא,ה).

ג,ג הקרובים מביאין תאנים וענבים, והרחוקים מביאין גרוגרות וצימוקים. והשור הולך לפניהם, וקרניו מצופות זהב, ועטרה של זית בראשו; והחליל מכה לפניהם, עד שהן מגיעין קרוב לירושלים. הגיעו קרוב לירושלים, שלחו לפניהם, ועטרו את ביכוריהן. והפחות והסגנים והגזברין יוצאין לקראתם; לפי כבוד הנכנסין, היו יוצאין. וכל בעלי אומנייות שבירושלים עומדין לפניהם, ושואלין בשלומן, אחינו אנשי מקום פלוני, באתם בשלום.
