Rav’s Audio Bikkurim 2:11,3:1

As Rosh Hashanah is fast approaching the shul would like to welcome everybody back as well as welcome all new Mispalellim who have joined us over the summer.
It is that time of year again, the Shul’s annual membership collection. As we have done in the past we ask for your continued support to help our Kehilah. The suggested annual membership is $360 per family which included seats (1 man and 1 woman or $180 single) for the Yomim Noraim. Additional seat prices are suggested as $125 for an adult and $75 for a child.
This year we are planning on having a seating chart (thank you to the people who have volunteered their time) for the women for the Yomim Noraim. If your wife/daughter/guest plans on attending on Rosh Hashanah (1 or both days) and/or Yom Kipper please let us know as space in the shul by the women is limited (we will have more seats than in past years but still limited) and we want to make sure we have enough seats by the women for all tefillos. If you would like to reserve for a child please let us know their age(s), due to the limited seats and need to make sure all the adults have seats before we can seat a child.
If a member of the shul will not be with us for Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kipper please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan the seating chart accordingly for the Yomim Noraim. Even if you plan to only be with us for one day please let us know which day that will be.
While it may seem obvious to some we ask that even if you do purchase a seat for your child (Men and Women) and receive a seat on the chart that you be courteous and give the seat to any adult you may you see that does not have a seat (we will gladly refund any money should anyone take issue with this request). Please note that every effort will be made to make sure everyone who would like to daven with us has a seat, we will be giving priority to our members with a first come, first serve basis to outsiders.
Membership, seats for Yom tov, as well as our annual Malava Malka is where the shul collects most of the donations needed to cover the large expenses we have. However, it does not cover all of our expenses. To help with this the shul will be continuing the פרנס החודש and, monthly utilities sponsorship. If you would like to sponsor either please contact Eli Rosengarten or the Rav about availability and pricing.
Chaim Cywiak will be in the Shul this Motzai Shabbos beginning 1.5 hours prior to Slichos for the membership and seats arrangement (cash, check and credit cards excepted). Please note that every effort will be made to accommodate everyone with the seats they have/would like. However, we apologize in advance if we are unable to do so please know we are doing our best to make as many people happy as possible.
Wishing you and your family a Chasiva Ve’Chasima Tova and a Gut Gebenched Year.

Please Help
Dear Fellow Mispallelim,
Over the past five years, I have collected for various families with differing needs and our shul has always responded warmly and generously. However, the family I am now collecting for, and the purpose of this email, hits much closer to home for me than any of the prior appeals.
This past April, the second night of Pesach, my wife’s uncle, Moredechai Kamin A"H, passed away at the age of 52 after battling an illness for a little less than two years. He left behind his wife and 5 young children between the ages of 10 and 17. Unfortunately, the family is in need of money for their basic necessities and for them to have some semblance of financial stability going forward.
We are all well too familiar with the amounts of money needed to support a family and to meet our ongoing expenses. For a single mother with five children, this burden is tremendous. Coupling this financial burden while dealing with the loss of a loving husband and father makes the burden unfathomable. With the Yomim Tovim upon us, the need is that much greater.
As we ready for Rosh Hashanah and the Yom Hadin, this presents an opportunity for a zechus to provide a family with some menuchas hanefesh in knowing that they are being cared for by others in the Klal. As we sit around our tables for these upcoming Yomim Tovim, we can take great satisfaction in knowing that we have provided the same for another family in need.
In order to preserve the dignity of the family, we have decided to avoid a more broad-based internet campaign (i.e. GoFundMe). That being said, if you know of anyone else that may be interested in contributing, please feel free to pass along.
Tax Deductible donations can be made to:

Memo: K Almanah Fund
I will be in shul Motzai Shabbos for selichos and will be happy to collect donations from anyone who would like to give in person. I am happy to pick up checks from anyone’s home should that be more convenient or checks can be given to any of the gabbaim.
Alternatively, donations can be made online at KBYT.org. If you are making an online donation, please put "K Almanah Fund" in the payment notes section. In addition, if possible, please kindly forward a copy of the receipt to marcwegh so that we can keep track of the amounts coming in for this particular tzedakah fund.
My apologies for the length of this email and thank you in advance for your generous support. In the merit of your tzedakah, may Hashem bless you and your families with kol mishaalos libecha with simcha, nachas, and parnassa tovah. In the merit of this zechus, may Hashem pay you back kefel k’flayim.
Wishing everyone a kesiva v’chasima tovah and a gut g’bencht yur! From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your generosity.
