The following is a message from the Rav regarding Jose Perez who did the siding on the face of the Shul in case anyone is looking for someone that does siding.

[יג] יום טוב הראשון של חג שחל להיות בשבת, כל העם מוליכין את לולביהן לבית הכנסת; וכל אחד ואחד מכיר את שלו, ונוטל–מפני שאמרו, אין אדם יוצא ידי חובתו ביום טוב הראשון של חג, בלולבו של חברו. ובשאר כל ימות החג, יוצא אדם ידי חובתו, בלולבו של חברו.

ג,י [יב] בראשונה היה לולב ניטל במקדש שבעה, ובמדינה יום אחד. משחרב בית המקדש, התקין רבן יוחנן בן זכאי שיהא לולב ניטל במדינה שבעה, זכר למקדש; ושיהא יום הנף, כולו אסור.
